Under Edit > Preferences > Tools you can set 2 options for zoom, the first being Use Mouse Wheel to Zoom & Use 'scrubby' zoom. I recommend making sure these settings are the same in Designer & Photo - depending on the behaviour that you prefer.

Unfortunately I can't find any previous threads regarding this issue from yourself. Can you please confirm for me, is this happening for a document you have imported/converted to an Affinity Publisher document?

This language code is usually used in specific circumstances. Do you know which part of your document is using this language setting?

Many thanks in advance :)

Thanks for your reply.
I will go about setting all the shortcuts the same across all the apps.
As for the second i want to type in Affinity Publisher but it is not picking up any errors. so i have had to resort to typing it up in libre office doing a spell check then copy and past it into AP.
My posts on this if i remember correctly was under dictionaries but i could not find my old post either as it is a year or more ago.
anyway thanks for the help

I suspect you have unknowingly set your text frames set to use this dictionary by default, which means Affinity will not spell check any of your words as this dictionary is missing.

Can you please select the Text Frame tool in Publisher, then navigate to Edit > Defaults > Factory Reset. Now draw a new text frame and try typing - you should find that spellcheck now works as expected here :)

I'm sorry to hear this!

Can you please provide a copy of this .afpub file for me? Including the newly created frame.

Did you change the Text Style, or paste any text into this frame after creating this?

If you'd like a private upload link for the file, please don't hesitate to ask :)
