When trying to select and copy a part from a pixel layer with the Marquee tool or Selection tool the whole layer will be copied. If I then invert the pixel selection and try to delete what's around the selected the whole layer will be deleted. This occurred after latest update. I'm on Mac Mojave, 2019 iMac 27"

Please go to the Layers panel and check that you’re really working on a Pixel layer, not an Image layer. If you find that the selected layer is marked as ‘(Image)’ you’ll need to right-click on it and choose ‘Rasterize’ so that you can work at the pixel level.
