Matticus Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I'm still new to Affinity products, I'm familiar with soft light from adobe apps, however reflect is something new to me. So far they seem to do the same thing, and I cannot find a comparison after googling for about 30min. Would any one be able to explain to me the difference between the two? If it helps, I'm using the iPad app and what I'm working on is using black objects and strokes on a layer above my base color to make a shadow that will span over several colors for ease of editing and time. Both are looking well, but I can't see a difference. At the moment, I guess I could just pick one, but for future use it would be good to know when and why to use one over the other. Thank you in advance for any assistance! Quote

walt.farrell Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 You're welcome. (I actually got that via a Google search, which happened to include a topic that linked to that one.)
