Affinity failing to start Windows 10

I have this software for a couple of months now and stopped trying but found time to have a look at these posts.
I haven't used it because I was trying to open already existing Illustrator files (C6). Not very difficult images but still not able to open. So I thought maybe that's the problem. But today starting up, trying to open a new document I experience the same thing. It shuts down.

Also opened a recent designed logo from illustrator. I can see it, open it and then after a few sec it shuts down again.

Hi @gavdpoland Welcome to the Forums,

I've split your post into a new thread, as the one you'd replied to here is about an issue with MacOS and not Windows.

I'll request your crash files get looked at and will report back when i've had a reply

thanks! Stokerg. Just as an addition to the issue. When I don't do anything, it doesnt crash. It's just openend. As soon as I start a new project it crashes.
