I am creating a coffee table book with 598 images.  When I copied from previously produced pages (Xara) the file size was extremely low after transfer.  I countered by inserted fresh high resolution and 300 dpi images, many of around 10 MB each but my file size was only changed by a few KB.  How do I achieve high resolution and dpi of 300 in the images.?

Adobe acrobat does not accept affinity files.  Will your conversion to pdf reduce my resolution and dpi?  Sharp images are absolutely necessary in the final product.

Please advise.

Hello @Preston, and welcome to the forums.

When you inserted the  images anew, did you embed them or link to them? Embedding will greatly increase file size. Linking will only increase it slightly.

Heve you tried exporting to pdf and examining the image quality there?
