entropydecides
Question, so no halftone filter in Designer? but it is in Photo, seems like it would be more helpful in Designer. Is there a convenient way to make use of the filters in Photo in Designer? I saw a video where someone created one ..
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @entropydecides. No, there are no filters in Designer. However, if you also own Photo, you can open a Designer file in Photo and add a filter (or better, a Live Filter) there, and then return the file to Designer. This is made easier by the File > Edit in Photo function in Designer, and the File > Edit in Designer function in Photo. Also, if you have both, you can create a file in Photo that uses a Live Filter, then send it to Designer. And in Designer you can take that Live Filter layer and turn it into an Asset. After that, you can use the Live Filter in other projects by dragging it out from the Assets panel.
