Opening PSD layered file within an open PSD file

Recommended Posts

Hi! I am wondering if I have a layered PSD file open on Affinity Photo on my iPad, am I am able to also drag/drop (or place) another layered PSD file in to it without it flattening when I place it/import it. I am new to Affinity Photo and have only used PS, so I'm hoping I can do this! Thanks in advance for all your help!

Just tried, and on the few PSD files I have that seems to work. Opened PSD document then placed another PSD inside it which I was then able to drill down into and see its layer stack. Make sure you have enabled PSD import under preferences.
