VIPStephan
Is there any way to change the default position for newly created/opened windows in separated window mode? I have the toolbar at the top and any new window’s title bar is always behind it which makes it a PITA to drag windows around without first dragging the toolbar away. So, either detect the position and size of toolbar (or any UI component – e. g. if snapped to the edges of the screen, resize new windows to fit within the open space), or have a preference to specify default location (in x/y values) and size of new windows. That would be awesome.
laneallen
I usually hit tab which hides the UI, drag the window down, then tab again to bring the ui back. It's a lot easier than dragging the toolbar around, but I agree, it gets tiresome dealing with it. I think the problem is that the top bar ui has no "presence". If you're like me and make larger windows to see more of the design, then the default system stacks new windows, but the top toolbar doesn't register as an obstacle. It would be wonderful if this was fixed in a future release, although I think this should be registered as a bug rather than a feature request. VIPStephan
Ah, I didn’t think about the TAB workaround. Thanks for that. :-) That should do it for the time being.
