Don C Posted April 2, 2021 Share Posted April 2, 2021 Whenever I try to load any version above 1.8.5, everything looks fine with the install, but when I actually try to run the new version, it starts with the jellyfish splash screen, says 'loading fonts', and then the splash screen disappears and nothing loads. No error messages..... nothing. I have tried 1.9.0, 1.91., and now 1.9.2. Same thing every time. I tried the ctl button trick to reset the top 3 selections - no difference. Fresh installs, reboots, etc. every time - no difference. Exact same thing every time. Anyone else experience this and have any luck? Running Windows8 if that matters. Thanks. Staff DWright Posted September 15, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 15, 2021 Hi @Don C, Can you please check that you are running Windows 8.1 as this is the only version of windows 8 we support also have you updated to 1.10.1 of Affinity Photo.
