Croc
One thing that prevents me from ditching Photoshop entirely is the ability to create and manipulate 3D layers. I know you are trying to keep things simple, but if you could implement it somehow, it would encourage a lot of people to ditch Photoshop. Herbert123
Photoshop's 3d functionality is horrendously primitive and awkward in its implementation. I avoid it like the plague - the quality is questionable, and rendering 'speed' is like a slug crawling through molasses. I do my 3d work in Blender and Lightwave. Photoshop's 3d feature is a good example of why Photo would be better off sticking to becoming the best image editor, with perhaps a live link to various 3d applications. Staff Ben Posted October 6, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 6, 2015 3D layers is not something we intend to do. It's not a particularly good feature, and our mission is to only include well thought out features. If you do 3D, you have to do it properly - there's little point in having a half-baked solution. To include 3D in any way that we would be happy with would be a very different app to the 2D one we're making.
