Cool Clix Posted February 21, 2021 Share Posted February 21, 2021 Hi Serif Team, This is unfortunate and highly annoying at the same time that the latest version of Affinity Photo (1.9) is crashing frequently and unpredictably. I don't know about others but this is highly frustrating as I was very confident till Version 1.8. (It was faster too) "Stability" is now a serious issue and thus I can only suggest the Serif Team to look into this matter and resolve at the earliest lest it would mar their reputation. Best wishes. Cool Clix Posted February 21, 2021 Author Share Posted February 21, 2021 Hello, Thanks for addressing my concern. If you notice, I have mentioned that the crash happens unpredictably. So one cannot say the time of crash (which is scary). Today when I was applying some live filters, it hung and I had to willy-nilly restart the program (and lost the changes too). I also tried to uncheck the 'hardware acceleration' too but in vain. I have a laptop which has Intel I5 8th Gen CPU with 8GB RAM and Intel's UHD graphics 620.
