Adjust Thai Language in Text tools

Recommended Posts

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi @ThanathatA,

Welcome to the Affinity forums and my sincerest apologies for the delayed response here!

It looks like this is being added to a new line as the characters following this space appear not to fit the text frame, or perhaps due to a setting you have set for this paragraph/text frame.

The easiest way of confirming this is with a copy of your Affinity document, as either you need to adjust these settings, or perhaps increase the size of the text frame.

Can you please provide a copy of your file here for me, and the font file in use?

Many thanks in advance :)

The reason for this is that Publisher is unable to recognise the actual Thai words. In Thai there is a space between sentences, but not between words. And Publisher seems to only recognise word breaks by spaces. It will therefore never work correctly until this is fixed. Which I hope it is one day.

Until then, I have to use InDesign or Pages (on Mac) to set Thai properly.
