It isn't super critical, but I cannot get the "show mask as ..." drop down to work when using the quick mask.   For example, "show mask as black".

These are the Affinity Photo help directions I'm trying to follow:

"To change Quick Mask view:

  • On the Toolbar, click the arrow next to Quick Mask Enabled and then select a Show As option from the pop-up menu."

I get as far as this in the instructions, but can't get this to work.  I attached a screen image below.

Hi @Eric65,

Welcome to the forums and my sincerest apologies for the delayed response here!

I can confirm this is a known issue with version 1.9 which is logged with our developers as a bug, I believe that if you disable and re-enable the quick mask after applying the 'Show as' change then you should find the mask will be updated to the correct mode.

As mentioned, this is logged with our developers already so I will 'bump' this log now for you, we hope to have this resolved shortly.

Many thanks for your report :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
