No popups after Updating February 2021.

Recommended Posts

I updated Affinity Photo (1.9.0) on my Mac yesterday (High Sierra--which is the last version I could install on my 2009 Mac).  Mac said the update was successful.  Now I get no popups at all. Can I reinstall an earlier version of Affinity Photo?  Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Can you explain a bit more what you mean by "no pop-ups"? What are you doing, and what did you expect?

If you purchased from Serif, not from the Mac App Store, yes. But before doing that there are probably other things to try.

I have a photo loaded and have cropped it. When I click on Adjustments, I expect a popup so that I can use sliders to adjust levels, first, and other functions, such as brightness, etc.

I don't recall how I purchased Affinity, but I doubt it was from a Mac App Store.

Thanks. The usage of the Adjustments panel has been changed to fix some problems.

Click on an adjustment category to open the presets. Then click on the preset you want, or on Default if you're not sure what you want, exactly.

Or you can use the Adjustments icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. Or Layer > New Adjustment.
