Nomenta
I tried to send the photos to my photo agent, but the photos were not accepted because the metadata was missing the day the image was taken. "Date created" appears in EXIF, but the recipient cannot read the data from there. I can't find a place on the IPTC(image) page where the date could be put. The "categories" (field where letter codes are entered) section is also missing. Would there be a solution to this problem? Get another agent 🙂 Probably the easiest way to add IPTC data is using XnViewMP, I expect that Exiftool can do it but I've never tried I've added a new date field of 01/01/2000 to the attachment. exiftool -*date* MetaDataExample.jpg shows this: File Modification Date/Time : 2021:02:02 16:14:15+00:00 File Access Date/Time : 2021:02:02 16:14:15+00:00 File Creation Date/Time : 2017:05:21 13:12:09+01:00 Modify Date : 2017:05:21 13:12:09 Date/Time Original : 2017:05:21 13:12:09 Create Date : 2017:05:21 13:12:09 Date Time UTC : 0000:00:00 00:00:00 That's the original file, the following 2 lines were added by XnViewMP Date Created : 2020:01:01 13:12:09 Date/Time Created : 2020:01:01 13:12:09 Note that Date Created is IPTC not Exif; the Exif fields are Date/Time Original & Create Date You're welcome to send this to your agent to see what they can see. Metadata can be a minefield so good luck finding something that can be shared Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/
