Can you remove the art-board when exporting

Is there a way to remove the art-board when exporting? If I export it as an SVG the art-board isn't there but if I export it as anything else the art-board exports with it. Is there a way to turn this off some how? IDK if you can tell in

the image below or not because the art-board is white.

Hi James hagood,

If you select your design then go to File > Export  and then go to Area > Selection without background.

@Callum yeah I found that after I played around with it it for awhile, Thank You for the response.
