I have an issue that is happening both on my ipad in Affinity Photo, and Windows 10 in Affinity Designer. A psd or tiff file created in Photoshop CC 2021 is brought into an Affinity program and the files are missing shape layers. This appears to have started with the new Photoshop. I can bring in older psd and tiff files in with no issue. My understanding is that changes can be made to the Photoshop file. But will an update be coming to allow for the new format of files?

There has been a difference in how shapes are created in PS2021. There is a new feature for creating rounded corners built into the shape and I don't know what else. Even after these shapes are rasterized this happens. If the shape is brought over from an older version of PS the file comes in correctly into Affinity.

Thank you for the contact.

Ok I created something for you. This is becoming a well known bug in the scrapbooking community. Designers working in PS2021 are having to create extra files for Affinity users. Opened to the same result in (Updated to 1.9 and before the update) Photo on iPad and Designer in Windows 10.

This is happening to me, but I am not sure how to fix it  so I hope can learn how to fix this problem for my PSD files.

Thanks
