Hugh McE Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 When I used to use photoshop double clicking on a layer in the layers palette would bring up a panel with a transparency threshold slider. By dragging the highlight slider the whites in an image would become transparent. Holding the alt key while doing this would split the slider head so you could create a smooth falloff between transparent and opaque parts of the image. Does a similar function exist in Affinity Photo? It seems if it does Affinity does not use the same term so I am not sure what to call it to find it. It's a great function to remove paper white from scans. Thanks, Hugh Quote
Dan C Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Hi @Hugh McE, Welcome to the forums The function you're looking for in Affinity Photo is known as Blend Ranges, you can find out more about how these work in the video below - https://affinity.serif.com/tutorials/photo/desktop/video/342752528/ I hope this helps!
