Affinity crashes on opening

Every time I open Affinity Designer (1.8.6) on Mac - Big Sur 11.1 (macbook air) - I get message saying I do not have permissions to open Affininty Designer!!!! Then a crash report is generated. Go to open again and it opens fine Why guys???????

Hi Artworkings,

Please could you go to Finder > Applications then right click the Affinity Designer icon go to Get Info and check the sharing and permissions section found towards the bottom of the window that appears? If you already have permissions here please remove and re add them.
