Hi There,

After updating Affinity Designer to 1.8.6 version, I start to experience a selected objects export problem.

For example lets say I have four independent designed objects/logo on the same artwork and I want to export the logo which is on the right hand side of the artwork and tle leaving the other three logos. Previously I was able to export just the selected object only, now it does not export just the selected object (even I select the area as 'selection w/wo background') but it also exports all the other objects located juts on 'the upper-left area' with it.

I hope there is a suggestion or any solution to this issue.

Best regards,

Memet

Hi @Memet Ali Kaya,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

I have tried this with a document here and 'Selection with/without background' is working as expected for me, as the rest of the document is not included in this export.

Can you please confirm for me:

  • Is this happening in all documents or only certain ones?
  • What export format are you using?
  • Does this happen for all export formats?

It would help to see a copy of your Affinity Designer file, could you please upload a copy of this here? If you'd like to keep the file private please let me know and I can provide you with an upload link.

Alongside this document, could you also please provide a screenshot of your export settings, including the 'More...' options?

Many thanks in advance :)

Hi Dan,

Thank you so much for your reply.

  • Not in all documents
  • mainly PNG or PDF, it happen in both formats too
  • Yes

However after installing the 1.9 version of Affinity Designer, it seems that it is solved. Right now the export works perfectly. I am attaching the screen picture of export settings including more options.

Thank you so much

Regards,

Memet
