1.8.6 – Stops responding when opening or creating a new file

Recommended Posts

Affinity Designer starts fine. As soon as I create a new file with any preset and select create it stops responding forever. It wont recover.
I also cant open an existing file.

Steps I've tried:

  • Updated to the newest version
  • Use the ctrl + open to fully reset Affinity Designer
  • Delete Affinity and install it from scratch

macOS Version: 10.15.8

Any Idea how to solve this?

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.
