Veikk A15 tablet has no pressure at all

So I just got the Veikk A15 drawing tablet on a Mac with a USB-C hub and followed the installation instructions.

The pen is recognized entirely when I hover over the pad, meaning that everything seems properly installed but when I try to put pressure onto the pad, nothing appears. 

It's almost like the pen itself isn't getting detected since, when I open the drivers to set up those basic settings, the "current pen pressure" never shows up (the bar never fills). 

I've tried the following:

-deleting/re-downloading the drivers

-Replacing the bit at the end with other bits that were included in the box 

-not depressing the bit down entirely / pushing it all the way down ( to see if it makes a difference)

 

I'm super lost and have a feeling that the pen is busted. I emailed Veikk but am waiting for a response.

Hi Vnessdelorme,

Im not sure how much help we'll be here as something definitely sounds amiss if the tablets drivers aren't picking it up. Does the pressure work in other apps?
