Wosven
Hi and welcome @Dennard Look at your history, it seems that at some point you moved the mask and now it's not aligned with the background. (and perhaps you deleted part of the image, but without the Layer panel in view, it's difficult to know).
Dennard
I tired that, I also closed the program and tired again and it does the samething. Usually when I mask a object out and press mask it takes the object but now I can make the mask around like I never masked it out.
Wosven
If you closed the file, unless you shoose the option to save the history (but it gives larger files), you loose the history. The only option now, is to try to get the selection from the transparent part of this image, create a new mask, and paste this mask in a complete version of your image, and try to put it at the right position. Dennard
Ok. I have this now. But I can't make the image smaller or bigger like I would before. Its staying as the background
Dennard
Now when I try to move it, the mask moves and I don't have the object I just selected. It just moves around the background.
Wosven
You can unlock the background in 2 ways: Clicking on the lock on the layer, or selecting an object or more and unlocking with the lock button on the panel: You can select the mask or another adjustement by developping the layers, or clicking on the mask square And if you want, you can drag the mask above the image or "free" it in the context menu (right-click): Once the mask selected, clipped to the image or above the image, you'll be able to move it. Wosven
But since you move the selection, you won't be able to recover it completely. Perhaps it'll be faster to open the original image and do another selection, that trying to correct the one you'll have selecting the transparency of this image to create a new mask. For example, after moving the selection, I miss the left and bottom part of the original selection:
Wosven
Don't forget to unlock the mask.
Dennard
Thank you, I has no clue you could do this.
