Sherae
Hi there I just updated my MacOS to Big Sur 11.1 which also updated my Infinity Designer to version 1.8.6 Since the update I can’t print any of my designs. Same designs I printed yesterday I am unable to print today. I have un-installed and re-installed my printers and can print from every other program now except Affinity. It crashes in the print box before I can even make any choices from the print box. the error message I receive once it opens is Affinity Designer quit unexpectedly. under the crash thread it reads: exception type: exc bad access code: invalid address notes: exc corpse notify not sure if that is the information you need but I would really appreciate help troubleshooting this problem. Dan C
Hi @Sherae, Welcome to the forums Sorry to hear you're having trouble here! We've seen this happen previously and it usually happens when printer drivers are out of date / corrupted. Can you please: Uninstall the printer from your Mac Visit the manufactures website and download the latest available driver for your printer Restart your Mac after installing this driver Once restarted, reinstall your printer and try printing again. Does this resolve the crashing for you? Many thanks in advance!
