Tuukka T Posted January 2, 2021 Share Posted January 2, 2021 When starting Publisher for the first time after downloading and installing, it simply fails to start. I get the small splash screen with the logo, "Affinity Publisher 1.8.5.703" and copyright notification on the screen. That is where it gets stuck. Mouse cursor just shows it is loading. There are no error messages or a crash report, it just gets stuck here forever. I checked that I do not have any third party programs causing problems enabled. Thanks for doing a search and checking the list of third party programs that can cause issues. Do you know if you have the latests GPU drivers? If not, downloading and installing the latest Nvidia drivers - making sure to tick the option for a clean install will completely delete the old drivers.
