Hi, I have made some very simple A5 Letter writing papers which I have saved as PDF files. I sent the files to a friend, they show fine in her print preview but print very strangely. Is this something I am doing wrong? 1st pic shows her print preview and 2nd is what printed.

The design is made of layers of flowers but the layers are all grouped into one. I saved it by export as pdf A5 document.

Hi, looks like the printer when printing still recognizes the initial layer boundaries and fills those with black. - Check your Affinity document and how you've arranged the layers (and how you've setup transparency for the layer backgrounds). Further test the PDF export settings, if some setting possibly will perform an black color overprint etc.

Further it might be helpful to know, which app version you've used and under which operating system.

If you already had all layers merged together into one layer, adding the others (already combined) is redundant then. Meaning if those then added additionally into the PDF when exporting, it may be the cause of your problem. - Try out without those others layers, just export your final from all others merged together layer.
