360 Design Firm Posted December 21, 2020 Share Posted December 21, 2020 Trying to installed Affinity Publisher on Windows Pro 10, When I tried, I got: Setup cannot proceed for the following reasons: 64-bit CPU not found. I have a Flex 5G 14Q8CX05 computer, System type: 64-bit operating system, arm-based processor and windows 10 Pro. Help, what can I do. walt.farrell Posted December 21, 2020 Share Posted December 21, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The Affinity applications for Windows do not run on Arm processors. They are usable only on Intel processors, until Windows releases more emulation support (currently available only to Windows Insiders, I think). If you can get an appropriate Windows Insider build of Windows 10 you might be able to get it to work, but I don't know for sure. I have seen one report of one of the Affinity applications working on Arm here in the forums. Or, if you purchased directly from Serif, within the last 14 days, you can request a refund.
