I just purchased Affinity Photo last night as a download from the app store on my MacBook Pro.

I used it some late last night, went to bed and this morning none of the brushes, etc. are working. Patch tools, healing brush, paint - nothing.

I was never asked to set up an account and haven't received any type of email. However, my banking account was definitely charged the purchase fee.

Help! I am on a deadline with photos and the solution I thought I had found is not working at all.

Your purchase was entirely between you and Apple. You would not have an account directly with Serif until you purchase something from the Affinity Store, or download some free content available in the program's Welcome Screen (if any is offered).

If would be helpful if you could provide a screenshot of your project, including the entire Photo window, with the Brush Tool selected, and showing the Layers panel in the studio.
