James Qian
Affinity Designer offers compatibility with stylus and tablets that are paired with a computer, and I am currently using a Windows Surface Pro 3. I have the latest version of Affinity Designer, and am using a Sony pressure-sensitive stylus that I know works because I have used it with other programs such as Concepts and Sketchbook. I have loved to use Affinity, and have used it for 2 years and counting. I have only recently gotten ahold of an actual art laptop, and as such would love to sketch using my go-to program. Is there any way to enable pressure sensitivity with this program, because as it stands no matter what I try it is still not responding to pressure changes from me. Additionally (this isn't anything I need help with but I would prefer input) I was wondering if any of you had any sort of preferences specifically oriented towards art with a stylus or tablet that would work along the lines of a sketching program? Thanks for any help offered!
Staff Callum Posted December 14, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 14, 2020 Hi James Qian, Welcome to the forums Please could you select the brush tool and then from the content tool bar make sure the controller dropdown is set to pressure? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
James Qian
Yep, everything is set up correctly, and everything is selected as "pressure." But nothing will make the program respond to pressure, and even using an external mouse doesn't work.
