jfybby
hi I am running windows 10 and yes it is updated and canon pixma pro-100 and yes it is updated also. I bought affinity photo today from microsoft app store hoping for better results than lightroom, with light room I can not get it to print borderless on 5x7 with the whole picture. So I opened the app, imported the photo and tried to print, sometimes the print item window pops up and says it is printing, then the printer power button flashes like it has a job, then the amber light flashes and rejects the print job. When you push the button on the printer it spits the blank photo paper out.
Dan C
Hi @jfybby, Welcome to the forums On 12/5/2020 at 4:58 AM, jfybby said: I am running windows 10 and yes it is updated Can you please confirm which version number is currently installed? If you're not sure you can find out by typing winver into the start menu. How are you updating the drivers, through Windows updates/device manager? Unfortunately we're going to need some more information to investigate this issue - can you please confirm for me: Is this all happening with the same file, or multiple files? Do you make any changes to your document / print settings in between trying to print this document? Do you see any error messages or crash reports on screen? I believe some printer drivers have a 'log' of activity - does your printer happen to have one of these? As it may better show what is happening with these documents, as it's very hard to determine if the printer or Affinity app is the cause at this time. Many thanks in advance!
