christianlund
Hi, I have a lot of work done in a document, different artbords etc. Today when I was working I manage to zoom out really much and I could not find my artboards in the document. I tried to use the navigator tool, and then my document crashed. Now my iPad just crash instantaneously when I try to open the document again. It looks like the dokument has turned in to a huge one, 20800 x 20900 ince. I can’t open the it and I can’t use “save”. How do a access my document again and find my artbords? I really need do get my work back! Best, Christian
DM1
Hi Christian, sorry to hear you are having problems. Do you Save your work to a Designer folder? If so you can reload the file from the Designer folder in iCloud or on your iPad. If not it exists only in sandbox area and you would need a Mac or pc with special software to access that area. If the file has been corrupted it may be inaccessible. Mods may have other suggestions? If you are not saving your work I recommend changing your workflow. Create a file, return to Home Screen and tap the 3 bar menu under the files icon. This creates an .afdesign file in the default storage folder. Now tap the file icon to open it. You now have a save option in the Document menu. Use it often as it updates the folder version. Don’t rely only on the sandbox version.
