MarcelP102 Posted November 3, 2020 Share Posted November 3, 2020 Hi, With the latest beta and also with the general release of Affinity Publisher I have the problem that app uses a lot of CPU. Moving a simple picture or zooming brings the CPU to 100%.. The new hardware acceleration doesn't make any difference. In fact, it seems that loading of the program and displaying everything takes even longer than the general release. In idle the CPU usage is around 1%. Please fix this. A lot of other program's experience slow down due the high CPU usage. Can't even play a song in the background! Crazy.. CarlM Posted November 6, 2020 Share Posted November 6, 2020 I have the same issue. Open Publisher without any documents and it chews 25% of my CPU. Open a document and it jumps to over 50% . Almost all pages stay blank after more than 6 minutes waiting.. Memory and cpu usage is extreme as you can see. All drivers are updated to latest version.
