Bluehen Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 In Master Page text frame trying to constrain Drop Cap to first paragraph only. When Master Page is applied all paragraphs begin with a Drop Cap. What are the steps to have the Drop Cap applied to only the first paragraph? Quote
walt.farrell Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 How are you specifying that you want a drop cap? Generally I would do that with a paragraph text style, and if I wanted a setup like you've described I would have two text styles. In creating the one with the drop cap, I would set its "next style" to the text style without the drop cap. Bluehen Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 Thanks. Followed your process and created two Text Styles. The first style uses a Drop Cap, second style (set as Next Style) has none. However within the text frame the styles are now reversed! Not sure what is happening, any thoughts? Drop Cap Settings.pdf Quote
