flatten affinity file and save as jpg?

Recommended Posts

Have been trying to upload cover files to kindle for print. I have the correct file ready to upload and when I do via pdf the upload only takes part of the book (front cover) spine and rear  cover do not appear to upload when checkin the file in KDP. It appears the file is not flattened as the elements are listed in the layers.I have grouped checked. There does not seem to be a (flatten or drop layers) on the screen. I have tried to save as another type file such as jpg or pdf so I could place it on my desktop and upload from there. I seem to be at a dead end. Can someone give a few hints as to what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Norm

You don't say which Affinity app you're using, but generally speaking if you want to convert a layered Affinity file to .jpg, .pdf etc you need to Export it rather than Save As...

If you have Exported a .pdf from Publisher, it will be a multi-page document which you may need to split into single-page files. See this recent thread for further discussion.

Affinity Photo 2.5.3,  Affinity Designer 2.5.3, Affinity Publisher 2.5.3, Mac OSX 14.5, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
