Try "playing with" the 3D setting in layer FX (fx at bottom of layers tab.) You can set higher amounts in the radius and depth settings by entering values in the box.

Also, in Affinity Photo, Filters - Distort - Spherical. The settings you need, and how well it works, depends on the original that you're working with.

Also, it will, of course, only give the impression of being a 3D sphere, you won't be able to turn it around and see the back, as you would in a 3D app.
