Is this the sort of thing you want? If so it was done by cutting out the object and putting it on a new layer above, then playing around with burn, dodge, blur tools and levels, making slight adjustments to sky and sea separately, to match up the two areas. Then flatten the image. This was a very quick fix, a better job could be done taking more care and time.
