Hey,

When i create a template with 21m on 20 m and then create for example a square and then try to copy that square affinity crashes without any note.

Hi @Olias welcome to the Affinity forums.

Can I just confirm, are you making a template that is 21 metres by 20 metres? Have you checked with your printer to see if they need the file to be that large?

Most printers only require the files to be around 10% to make large banners, if they are fully vector. So that would be 2100mm x 2000mm. If all vector the dpi is irrelevant but if there are images being used the higher the dpi the better - but this will make the file massive.

Yes, it's 21 by 20 meters,

i wanted to do some sketching for architectural purposes.

I never wanted to print it out that way and i found that formats till  21,675 m are supported.

The workaround is of course to just use smaller templates where 1cm equals 1 meter, but still, it should be possible to work with "supported" sizes...

Ahh ok.

Can you make a video of the crash and upload here for me so I can see the steps I need to take to make it crash please? I have been unable to recreate this so far and I have copied a large square 10 times without any issue.

If you could also upload your file in case there is something I am missing that would also be great. Thanks.

I added two screenshots.

Basically as soon as i select the square and press strg/ctrl + c affinity closes....

Same behavior when right clicking and selecting copy....

p.s. i have the copy history enabled in windows
