Stenveel Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Multilingual spellcheck do not work on iOS. Application text panel lucks language selector for spelling, so you can check only English grammar. And in the other hand MacOS app has that selector in the panel. Also should mention, that in my case I needed Russian spellchecker. Looking forward for that small bug fix. Thank you. Quote
SPaceBar Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 Hi @Stenveel Welcome to the Affinity forums! I've checked with my colleague and the spellchecker is set to the language that you set in iOS. There is an option to choose a different language in the app settings but that does not have any control over the spellchecker as this is controlled by the os. Quote
Stenveel Posted September 21, 2020 Author Posted September 21, 2020 - Sorry guys, after I restarted the app everything started to work fine. I have iOS 14.00, maybe there was some computability issues. Before I’ve started working with text I were playing a lot with new handwriting feature and it do not work inside Affinity Design. Maybe that triggers spellchecker disabling. SPaceBar 1 Quote
SPaceBar Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 Hey no worries, at least it's working. It's amazing how reliant we are on spellcheckers now. I don't alway type the apostrophe nowadays as spellcheckers add it in. Quote
