In Photoshop I could select an image and then press 'v' to start moving the image. Everything I have tried simply moves the selection. How do I put AffinityPhoto into move mode?

Also how would you then resize the selected image?

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

Welcome to the Forums :)

If you click a Layer from the righthand side of the App it will automatically select everything that is on that layer. You can then switch to the Move tool by pressing V and drag the selection around. With the Move tool selected you can also draw a box around any items that you want to select and move. To resize what you have selected you can use the Transform tab at the bottom righthand side of the program or drag the handles from the sides and corners of your selection. If you have just imported your photo and are trying to move it you may need to unlock it. If the Layer is locked it will have a lock symbol to the right of it in the Layers tab if you click the lock it will unlock the layer. I hope this helps :)
