bitesizeddoodles
Hi everyone! I started drawing on my iPad using the vector brush tool but now would like to convert these back to regular pencil strokes. Is this possible? Back story: I generally draw on my iPad using Affinity Designer and then finish up the artwork on my macbook using AI (sorry if this is sacrilegious!!!). When I draw brush vectors in AD on the iPad and then open the file in AI, instead of editable vector strokes, I get solid images that are masked in vector shapes. I didn't realize this until all of my images were drawn using the brush tool, thus wanting to convert them all quickly back into pencil strokes that I can move around on AI. Any suggestions? Thanks! Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @bitesizeddoodles. Use the buttons at the top of the Stroke Studio to convert the selected brush stroke(s) to solid or dashed — or no stroke, if desired. bitesizeddoodles 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
