Blumowski
Hello folks, I've just discovered AP as an alternative for LR and PS. I'm excited, but obviously I need your help: the black/white layer (or grayscale, I don't know how it's labeled in English) doesn't apply for printing. It shows just fine on screen, but the preview in the printing interface is colored an so is the print on paper. Thanks for your help, Blumowski
A_B_C
Hi Blumowski, and welcome here … :) I assume you are talking about the Black & White Adjustment. Indeed, the adjustment is not applied when printing, and that seems to be a bug. As a temporary workaround, you can choose Layers > Merge Visible … after having applied your adjustment. This will create a new layer on top of the others, and you should be able to print your adjusted image. Hope that helps … cheers, Alex :)
A_B_C
Hi Blumowski, this issue seems to be already fixed in the latest Beta … just checked it. You can get it from here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/11904-affinity-photo-customer-beta-13426925/ You can install the Beta alongside the App Store version, it does not interfere with the latter. But please make sure not to delete the App Store version. Otherwise the Beta won’t launch. Hope that helps. Greetings again, Alex :)
