Cut out a selection from a pasted image

so i have i question. How do i cut out a selection or crop an image if i pasted it into Affinity Photo (Windows)?

So for example i am working on a picture and now i paste another image into the document and i just want to have a part of the pasted image, how to i crop it?

There is no direct way of cropping placed layers. Placed image is image layer (instead of pixel layer) so you need to rasterize it to a pixel layer to cut it, or you can just mask it (like draw a selection and click mask button in layers palette).
