Using Affinity Photo 1.8.3.641, and reloading an image to continue working, as I go back through the history slider, the whole app crashes, no matter how many times I reload that same file I get the same problem. If I start from scratch and repeat the same actions I don't have a problem. Somewhere along the work process of the problem file I seem to have introduced a bug? I don't know not the expert here. I have the same issue when I start to load a new file, a few times the app will totally crash, no warning so no crash report. I'm not saying that this a problem with affinity's software, but it only seems to occur with this app. Personally I think it could just be a microsoft glitch which shuts but as I said I'm no expert. As there are so many user of Microsoft it could be a common denominator...all guesswork. So hoping you can help please? Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A crash on new document or when opening a file is normally related to graphics card drivers and doing a clean install of them should resolve the issue. As for the history slider crash, could you save your file with History (File>Save History with document) and upload it here and i'll see if i can replicate it I'd also suggest trying the late beta from here but please note, anything saved in the beta can't be opened in the release build, so i'd suggest making a copy of your file before opening it in the beta Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
