Is there a way to create diagonal guide lines like you can in Illustrator?

Thanks. But those are grids not guide lines, so that is not the same. I'm looking to create single diagonal guide lines which can move like a guide line but rotate (transform). I don't think this feature exists in Affinity. In Illustrator guides can be seen as an element in the Transform palette, but not in Affinity and there is no rotation in the guides manager. 😞

You have to use workarounds, like own drawn lines locked on a background layer as templates then.
