Hello Affinity, a small barrier exists between "industry standard software" and others. It's how and what you are able to present to clients in an efficient way. I'd like to suggest that Affinity acquire or build this type of app to help designers of all levels to present projects quickly and efficiently the way Live Surface can. https://www.livesurface.com/index.php

Diagonal Guides

Thanks. But those are grids not guide lines, so that is not the same. I'm looking to create single diagonal guide lines which can move like a guide line but rotate (transform). I don't think this feature exists in Affinity. In Illustrator guides can be seen as an element in the Transform palette, but not in Affinity and there is no rotation in the guides manager. 😞 -
Is there a way to create diagonal guide lines like you can in Illustrator?

Man, I was sure the spot colour swatch shows in the colour bars. Would be a nice feature, but I'll keep looking into it.

I've exported a document with a spot colour and selected "honour spot colour" in the export panel, but the swatch does not display in the colour bars in the PDF?

OK, now here is a file that is causing issues with working on a masked image... The cursor creates a pattern behind the object with mask. Very difficult to work with this happening.

I think since 1.7.1 the program is working like before. Perhaps it was with this issue?: Fix for Metal issues on some Intel GPUs and older operating systems So all is fine again.

Not sure what the issue is but ever since the 1.7 update, Designer is SLOWWW, hangs on moving a simple shape on the artboard. Verging on unusable! iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) 4 GHz Intel Core i7 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GB
