J L Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Hi, only just got onto Affinity Designer in the last few days and I'm struggling to find how to access the Unsplash photos on the Stock tab. Do I have to register with them or something? Any help appreciated! Thanks - JL Quote
GarryP Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Welcome to the forums. You should be able to use the photos in the Stock Panel by checking the “I agree” box in that panel, then searching for keywords, then dragging the required photo to your document. If this is not working then you will probably have to give us more information about what you are doing and what you want to do. Quote
J L Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 Ah! That's it! I wasn't searching for them, I guess I just expected thumbnails to start loading when I ticked the box. All sorted now! Many thanks for your help. Regards - JL Quote
GarryP Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 You’re welcome. I’ve just had a look at the Help about the Stock Panel and the instructions aren’t very clear to me. There is no mention that you need to do a search to see any images. Also, there’s no mention that you have to press ENTER to make the search happen. Also, the instructions say “Click the cross to remove the search term and display all images.” which is incorrect as it goes back to the “I Understand screen” when you do so. I think the instructions need to be made much clearer. Quote
J L Posted June 14, 2020 Author Posted June 14, 2020 Good points! Even though it turns out I probably could have seen the photos on the trial version, I assumed I would definitely get to see them when I purchased the unlock. I was a bit disappointed when it turned out I still couldn't - until you explained what I needed to do! Maybe they will pick up on your suggestion and have a look at it. JL Quote
