Moth Man Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 The haze removal filter contains a distance slider. The slider works from near to far, is there any way to make it work in reverse i.e. from far to near as most of the haze I want to remove is usually in the distance at the back of the picture? Quote
carl123 Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 According to the Help file... Distance—controls the depth of the haze removal: moving the slider to the right removes haze towards the background of the image. Can you upload a sample image you are having trouble with, as regards Haze removal? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Moth Man Posted June 15, 2020 Author Posted June 15, 2020 Yes I agree the distance slider controls where the haze removal is applied, but it works from foreground to background. I was wondering if it was possible to work the other way round so that you could apply Haze Removal in just the distance / background WITHOUT applying it in the foreground. I suppose it could be done by applying Haze Removal to the whole picture and using a mask to a layer below without Haze Removal. Don't have any specific file at the moment that I am having trouble with but many thanks for the offer. Quote
