Selection Tool: Cut and Paste, Unable to get Clean Cut?

Recommended Posts

I have been using Affinity Photo for quite some time. I have never encountered this problem, but for some reason when I select something Cut (Command + X) and Paste (Command + V), I don't get a hard clean cut, there is this white line around my selection that tends to blink in and off depending on how I zoom in.

I thought, maybe it won't show up when I export it. It unfortunately does show up when I export..

I did no selection refining, so it should be a clean cut..

Select the thing you want to select, then use menu “Edit → Copy”, then use “File → New From Clipboard”, then save that document and post it here. By doing this we will be able to see what you see and can probably diagnose what is happening.
If you can also post the original image that would be helpful.
Also, can you tell us how you made your selection and what settings you used (a full-screen screen-grab is normally helpful)?
