Erase Brush doesn´t work properly

...unfortunately I have many problems with an Affinity. For example: Erase Brush Tool doesn´t work at all. It has accepted the function of a Paint Brush Tool. If I want to erase anything on the picture, the Erase Brush paints instead the "lightnings" or "galaxy stars" from "Xenon Galactic or other Brush. I have already unistalled the Affinity ( with a Revo Ininstaller ), and installed Affinity one more time. The mistake comes at once, after I try to use Erase Brush after I used Paint Brush with for example Lightning Brushes or Xenon Effect Brushes. I also have many problems with setting of a Paint Brush`s Colours. Sometimes it makes the change / setting of a colour, sometimes it doesn´t make any change.  Actually my "Affinity" is absolut useless. I would be very thankful if you could give me any advice.
