Not clearing storage space after deleting files

I know this problem has been raised a few times for a few years and I ve tried to locate the solution but didn’t manage to. Affinity designer is accumulating space on my iPad storage, even after deleting most of my files. Is this still an existing bug? Could assets be the corporate? ( are they calculated as part of the app or in doc and data?)I am sure than deleting the app and reinstalling will be suggested as a solution but what happens to assets then? It is a lot of work. Thank you for clearing this for me, love the app, would love to be able to keep using it.

Assets have to be stored somewhere so yes they will be inside the apps sandbox area just like your documents on the home screen and bare in mind if each asset is a complete affinity file then it could be quite large. Same issue with other items, if you import loads of stuff expect the app+data to grow in size.

So you could export your asset files off the iPad to a cloud service or external drive and only import when you need them in the future. install - use - delete until next time you need them.
